In 1875, founder – Arthur Liberty – opened a small half-shop on Regent Street in London. Shortly after, he began printing the very first Liberty fabrics. By the 1890s, the demand for the avant-garde fabrications profoundly grew; transforming the quintessentially British brand into a household name of textile design.
Today, there’s an innate passion deeply rooted into every Liberty Fabric, which is the result of a bespoke and meticulous creation process. From the hand-drawing of prints by the in-house design team to the considered screen-printing and production overseen by skilled technicians, Liberty’s unrivaled archive houses over 150 one-of-a-kind designs – and counting!
Good news: there’s plenty of new headed your way this season!
