How do I return an item purchased from Sportscraft Online?

As per your statutory rights, you can choose a refund or exchange if an item has a major problem.

This is when the item:

  • Has a problem that would have stopped someone from buying the item if they had known about it
  • Is unsafe
  • Is significantly different from the sample or description
  • Doesn’t do what we said it would do, or what you asked for and can’t be easily fixed.

Alternatively, you can choose to keep the item and we will compensate you for any drop in value.

If the problem is not major, we will repair the item within a reasonable time. If it is not repaired in a reasonable time you can choose a refund or replacement.

In addition to your statutory rights, we offer a change of mind returns policy where the following conditions are met:

  • The item must be unworn, unwashed and have the original tags still attached.
  • All returns must be made within 21 days of order date. Refund will exclude any postage costs. Due to hygiene reasons we cannot accept returns for swimwear, earrings, hosiery and lingerie, unless they are faulty. This does not affect your statutory rights.

For all online purchases that meet the returns requirements, simply click HERE and choose your preferred method of return from the 3 options. Please note for customers using Paypal or Afterpay, only exchanges will be offered in-store. For a full refund to your Paypal or Afterpay account, please book a return back to our warehouse. In your return parcels, please include your original Packing List from your order ensuring you complete the form advising us of which items you are returning and the reason code. You can also return your online order at any freestanding Sportscraft store with your confirmation email and the item(s) for a full refund within 21 days. Once you have dropped your parcel off or had it collected, returns may take up to 2-7 business days to reach us. Note: Once recieved we'll process your request withing 3-5 business days. We will email you once your order has been refunded.

Signature and Menswear online purchases, can only be returned at stores that stock Signature or Menswear. Items purchased online cannot be returned or exchanged in Sportscraft Clearance Stores, Myer or David Jones Concession Stores.

Please note that items purchased online by New Zealand cusomters in AUD cannot be returned or exchanged in New Zealand Sportscraft Stores, David Jones or Ballantynes Christchurch Concession Stores.

Please ensure you keep a copy of the return information which will be emailed to you including the tracking number, this is required if we need to track a return.

In addition to your statutory rights we allow change of mind returns in the following circumstances:

  • If you are not entirely happy with your Sportscraft purchase please return to your nearest freestanding Sportscraft store and ensure it in a saleable condition with your original receipt within 14 days for an exchange, credit or refund. Please note that Signature and Menswear can only be returned at stores that stock Signature or Menswear. 
  • If you purchased your Sportscraft item at David Jones or Myer, please return your item back to that store and refer to their returns policies.
  • The item must be unworn, unwashed and have the original tags still attached. All returns must be made within 14 days of receipt date. If you have lodged your return via the Sportscraft Return Portal, your can track your return back to our warehouse. Once you have dropped your parcel off or had it collected, returns may take up to 2-7 business days to reach us.
